AED Supports Mothers and Others March in Washington, DC
August 12, 2014
AED is proud to announce that we are partnering with the Eating Disorders Coalition (EDC), Mothers Against Eating Disorders (MAED), and the Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness in supporting the first ever Mothers and Others March (M.O.M) in Washington, DC, on September 30, 2014.
The inaugural Mothers and Others March will comprise those affected by and struggling with eating disorders, mothers and families, advocates, and eating disorder organizations who will march together on our nation¹s capital.
The mission of the M.O.M. March is to raise awareness about the stigma and devastating impact of eating disorders; advocate for those affected by eating disorders; honor those who have lost a loved one; celebrate those who have struggled and recovered and educate Congress and influence federal policy related to eating disorders.
Please consider supporting the efforts of these advocacy organizations and the AED by participating in this historic event.
