BruniIn the Belly of the Beast: What Happens and What's Learned, When a Food Addict Makes Food His Profession

Friday, March 28, 2014, 9:00 a.m.

Frank Bruni is an award-winning journalist, who was The New York Times’ chief restaurant critic from 2004-2009 and currently an Op-Ed columnist. He is also the author of three books, including his memoir, "Born Round," a New York Times best seller, which describes his complex relationship with food and his challenges with eating and weight. In his Keynote Address, Mr. Bruni will share his unique perspective and the particular lessons learned about disordered eating and food obsessions from being a restaurant critic, and suggest what it revealed about roots and remedies for disordered eating behaviors.
